About the Role

Connect Appointments is recruiting Food Production Operatives to join an established food production business based in Rosyth on an ongoing basis, with the opportunity for permanent employment.

Our client operates a busy food production facility, offering both full-time and part-time shifts to suit different working preferences.

What’s on offer?

  • Ongoing position with the opportunity for permanent employment
  • £13.20 per hour, with overtime paid at £19.80 per hour
  • Two shift options available:
    • Part-time: Monday to Friday evenings, 6pm to 10pm OR 6:30pm to 10:30pm
    • Full-time rotating pattern:
      • Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 6am to 6pm
      • Week 2: Wednesday and Thursday, 6am to 6pm

As a Food Production Operative, your duties will include:

  • Picking, packing and packaging customer orders on the production line
  • Ensuring all loaded and unloaded items match relevant paperwork
  • Storing and distributing produced items and assisting with inventory controls
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy work environment in line with food hygiene standards

To be considered as a Food Production Operative, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a food production, warehouse or manufacturing environment
  • Good physical fitness and the ability to work at pace
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively under limited supervision
