About the Role
Our client in the pharmaceutical industry is looking for a Marketing Insights Analyst. This role is designed for a data-driven storyteller who thrives on transforming complex laboratory and diagnostic data into actionable marketing strategies. As a Custom Insights Analyst, you will bridge the gap between technical research and executive decision-making. You will be responsible for executing high-impact primary research, blending it with secondary datasets, and crafting visually compelling narratives that resonate with both scientific and business leaders.
The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in the life sciences sector and an intuitive understanding of the motivations driving lab directors, pathologists, and senior scientists. We are not looking for a super technical candidate, but someone who understands insights and data analysis from a consumer standpoint.
Responsibilities:
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business questions into focused, high-impact learning objectives.
End-to-End Research Execution: Independently lead exploratory customer research, market landscape assessments, and unmet needs studies.
Advanced Data Synthesis: Lead the analysis of quantitative and qualitative data using modern tools (including AI) to identify trends and "connect the dots" across multiple studies.
Hands-on Analysis: Focus on the deep-dive analysis of raw results rather than external vendor management to ensure high-quality, nuanced insights.
Strategic Storytelling: Develop and present insight-rich presentations that simplify complex data into visually engaging, persuasive narratives.
Decision Support: Act as a consultative partner for ad-hoc requests, consistently advocating for the voice of the customer in internal discussions.
Qualifications:
Professional Experience: 5+ years of dedicated custom insights experience specifically within the Life Science, Medical Device, or Healthcare industries.
Marketing Experience: Experience working with and synthesizing marketing data.
Subject Matter Expertise: A profound understanding of laboratory operations and the key personas involved (Lab Directors, Pathologists, Senior Scientists).
Analytical Rigor: Proven ability to triangulate complex data from disparate sources, including primary research, secondary sources, and third-party datasets.
Communication Excellence: Exceptional storytelling skills with a track record of presenting to cross-functional stakeholders.
Project Leadership: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects independently in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
Technical Proficiency: Highly skilled in modern research tools and data visualization techniques.
