HOURS OF WORK: 9am till 5pm (Monday to Friday) - These hours can be tweaked to an earlier start / finish if required
Salary Guide: OPEN (Depending on Experience) + Pension + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
Our client is a specialist within the design and manufacture of corrugated products and packaging solutions. With many years' experience in product development and production they have earned a commanding reputation as leaders in bespoke corrugated packaging solutions
They are currently looking to recruit an experienced Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental Officer who is NEBOSH qualified to manage the entire QHSE for the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental (HSQE) performance across the operation
Develop, maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System in line with industry best practice
Key elements of the Quality Management System include, but are not limited to: quality planning, quality objectives and targets, document control, internal and external audits, corrective actions, process control, and risk-based thinking
Provide specialist guidance and support to senior management in the delivery of strategic and tactical quality-related objectives
Provide leadership and coaching to the team to foster a culture of learning and continuous improvement
Provide ongoing communication and support to team members on quality matters, workflows, and best practices
Act as an integral part of the company's growth plan, ensuring the business is equipped and prepared for future expansion
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal, external, and customer quality audits, acting as the liaison between auditors and site management
Ensure audit plans and results are communicated effectively and that resulting actions are assigned to appropriate resources
Ensure manufacturing processes operate within customer-defined limits and comply with all safety and quality requirements set out in product specifications
Manage the Corrective Action process, working cross-functionally to ensure issues are raised, investigated, and resolved in a timely manner
Conduct risk assessments and fit-for-purpose testing to ensure products meet customer standards, are safe, and are suitable for their intended environment
Take ownership of reducing defective and non-conforming goods manufactured and delivered
Collaborate with NPD to establish quality standards for new products and services
Ensure supplier, internal and external audits are completed on time, in line with current legislation and the company remains compliant with ethical and capability requirements
Maintain governance and control of all quality and compliance-related documentation
