Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist to join the team. In this role, you will support inventory management, logistics cost analysis, demand forecasting, and production volume reporting. Your insights will help drive decision-making and improve operational efficiency in a fast-paced supply chain setting.
Responsibilities
- Analyze demand and production volumes through detailed reports, coordinating with demand and supply teams to ensure accurate forecasts.
- Prepare presentation materials for Supply Chain and Finance meetings, highlighting key assumptions, discrepancies, and movements.
- Lead cross-functional meetings to agree on final volume figures, validating data with factories and resolving any discrepancies.
- Conduct monthly analysis of actual versus forecasted volumes during month-end closing.
- Perform monthly logistics cost reviews, identifying key drivers, risks, and variances, and ensuring forecasting accuracy.
- Gather and consolidate forecast inputs from various departments and factories, maintaining consistency and accuracy.
- Monitor inventory performance, highlighting risks and target deviations, and communicate insights through clear reports.
- Support ad hoc analyses and tasks as needed, contributing to continuous process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in cost accounting within a logistics environment (preferred)
- Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- ERP systems experience, preferably with SAP
- Hands-on experience with Power BI, including report interpretation and data extraction in Excel
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize, and adapt to changing priorities
- Resilient, proactive, and capable of anticipating business needs
