Shape new formats, coverage areas and audience strategies in a creative environment with real ownership and impact.</span></p><p><br><strong>What the opportunity looks like</strong></p><ul><li><p><span>Writing, packaging and publishing high-quality sport content across SPORTbible platforms</span></p></li><li><p><span>Covering breaking news, trending topics and major sporting moments with speed and accuracy</span></p></li><li><p><span>Creating original, value-add journalism including explainers, features, interviews and opinion-led pieces</span></p></li><li><p><span>Contributing to a multi-sport content strategy, covering everything from football and F1 to boxing, MMA, golf, tennis and beyond</span></p></li><li><p><span>Developing engaging formats such as rankings, debates, explainers and evergreen content</span></p></li><li><p><span>Taking ownership of your stories end-to-end – from sourcing and writing through to headline, imagery and optimisation for multiple platforms</span></p></li><li><p><span>Using data, trends and audience insight to inform editorial decisions, while making strong independent calls</span></p></li><li><p><span>Collaborating with social, video and commercial teams to maximise performance across platforms</span></p></li><li><p><span>Creating content exclusively for social platforms as required</span></p></li><li><p><span>Supporting forward planning around major sporting events and tentpole moments</span></p></li><li><p><span>Contributing ideas that work across multiple platforms, not just a single channel</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Skills and experience we'd like you to have</strong></p><ul><li><p><span>Experience writing for a digital publisher, ideally within sport</span></p></li><li><p><span>Strong understanding of what sports fans care about and how they consume content</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience in packaging content to drive performance across social channels</span></p></li><li><p><span>Excellent writing skills, with the ability to adapt tone for different formats and platforms</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience in using design software to optimise imagery to maximise CTRs</span></p></li><li><p><span>Passion for sport, with knowledge across multiple sports (not just football)</span></p></li><li><p><span>Ability to spot trends and react quickly in a fast-paced environment</span></p></li><li><p><span>Strong editorial judgement – creating content that is engaging, accurate and adds value</span></p></li><li><p><span>Confidence using data and performance insights to inform decisions</span></p></li><li><p><span>Proactive mindset – you bring ideas, not just execution</span></p></li><li><p><span>A collaborative approach with a brand-first, audience-first mentality</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p>At LADbible Group we've rolled out blended working which means the majority of departments across the business (including London, Manchester and International offices) work from home and the offices on a weekly basis.</p><p>LADbible Group is an equal opportunities employer.
