The Role
The selected candidate must be in good physical condition in order to respond to Fire / Medical emergencies throughout the Company property, as well as on board vessels. Candidates must be able to obtain a Secret level security clearance. Candidate will also perform inspections within the facility with crew members, deploy various fire protection equipment, participate in drills and shift training. 24-hour shift schedule as follows; Work – Off – Work – Off – Work, off 4 days. Then the cycle repeats.
*Potential annual salary of $95K (Dependent on ALS certification level). EMS certification stipends. CEU’s are scheduled and compensated. Potential compensation for additional training certifications obtained
Must Have
Required certifications are: VDFP or Pro Board approved Firefighter I & II, Hazmat Awareness and Operations, E.V.O.C. and EMT- ALS (Intermediate / Paramedic) Candidates that have M.I.R.T., Technical Rescue and Confined Space certifications will be given priority
