Senior Mechanical & Electrical Services Engineer Eastbourne £45k+ 10% bonus

To provide facilities management (M&E) for maintenance, security, cleaning and switchboard services at a 100,000 sq ft. office building.

Plan best allocation and utilisation of space & resources.

Coordinate and lead teams, undertaking annual appraisals, recruiting, training & development.

Overseeing annual budgets for maintenance and security and monitoring costs against budget.

Manage, schedule and coordinate works and services for reactive and planned preventative maintenance. This includes hard services for HVAC, H&CWS, electrical systems and safety systems (fire, intruder).

Coordinate small works projects, up to CDM value/scope.

Oversee contractors delivering maintenance services to agreed SLA’s.

Provide annual maintenance and security budgets plus Capital & Project Improvements.

Manage security systems – CCTV, fire and security, ensuring adherence to all regulations including DPA legislation. Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety and statutory requirements for maintenance and security eg. electrical testing , asbestos management and legionella testing.
