We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Arboricultural Planning Officer to join our team. In this key role, you will work as part of a team to deliver all aspects of the Council’s arboricultural service, protecting, managing and enhancing the Council’s tree resource.
You will provide expert arboricultural advice within the planning process, ensuring that development proposals respect the existing environment and contribute positively to the borough’s green infrastructure. As an Arboricultural Planning officer you will support planning colleagues, engage with residents and developers and uphold statutory responsibilities relating to Tree Preservation Orders (TPOs), Conservation Areas and high standards of arboricultural practice. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the enhancement of our local environment and make a positive impact across our community.
