About the Role
Warehouse Operator/Back up Driver<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p><b>Pay:</b> $26.00 per hour, plus <b>$1.50 </b>with DOT certification </p><p><br /><b>Shift & Working Hours:</b> Day Shift; 7:00AM to 5:00PM; Weekends/Overtime/Holidays as needed.<br /><br />In this role, you’ll be a key member of our Land O’Lakes, Inc. warehousing team, performing front-line processes that ensure successful delivery of final products. You’ll gain skills and experience in warehouse operations including coordinating inbound/outbound deliveries, packing/loading final products using a forklift, assisting with cycle counts, and organizing areas of the warehouse. You’ll operate daily on a forklift and use other plant machinery and equipment as needed. This role also requires a CDL-A and driving for customer deliveries when needed for business demands.</p><p></p><p>Join our team to become part of a member-owned co-op that is Rooted In Tomorrow. This role is part of our WinField United business who supplies agricultural inputs, expertise, and technology to our member-owners and other partners.</p><p><br /><b>Key Responsibilities (Warehouse Operator):</b></p><ul><li><p>Complies with all safety processes and insists on safety practices of self and others</p></li><li><p>Shows up on time, completes tasks by deadlines, and adapts to changes quickly</p></li><li><p>Processes work orders by selecting correct products from racks, palletizing them, shrink-wrapping, and staging the product order for delivery</p></li><li><p>Able to multi-task and keep up with warehousing demands in a fast-paced environment</p></li><li><p>Ensures all standard operating procedures are followed</p></li><li><p>Maintains cleanliness and organization of work area</p></li><li><p>Successful forklift certification</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities (CDL Driving):</b></p><ul><li><p>Follows all driving and safety policies</p></li><li><p>Complies with FMCSA and DOT regulations of drivers</p></li><li><p>Complies with all safety processes and insists on safety practices of self and others</p></li><li><p>Shows up on time, completes tasks by deadlines, and adapts to changes quickly</p></li><li><p>Ensures all standard operating procedures are followed</p></li><li><p>Successful forklift certification required</p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><b>Required Experience and Skills:</b></p><ul><li><p>Must be 21 years or older</p></li><li><p>Possesses valid driver’s license including:</p></li><li><p>Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or <b>ability to attain within 6 months of employment</b> – LOL will provide assistance in attaining CDL Licensure</p></li><li><p>HAZ-MAT Endorsement <b>(or ability to attain)</b></p></li><li><p>Tanker Endorsement <b>(or ability to attain)</b></p></li><li><p>Additional endorsements may also be required to attain</p></li><li><p>Basic computer and math skills</p></li><li><p>Able to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions</p></li><li><p>Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve and troubleshoot</p></li><li><p>Strong collaboration, communication skills, and is always respectful</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Preferred Experience:</b></p><ul><li><p>1+ years of commercial driving experience</p></li><li><p>Forklift experience</p></li></ul><p><br /><b>Physical Requirements:</b></p><ul><li><p>Able to lift/carry up to 60 pounds</p></li><li><p>Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements</p></li><li><p>Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment</p></li><li><p>Working in temperature zones that include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include areas where dust and chemicals are present</p></li></ul><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p><b>About Land O'Lakes, Inc.</b></p><p></p><p>Join us and be part of a Fortune 250, farmer- and member-owned cooperative that is reimagining the business of food.
