Stephen Silver, M.D., Chief, Department of Sports Medicine at Hackensack University Medical Center, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in arthroscopic treatment of the shoulder, knee, and elbow. He has extensive experience in sports medicine and is thoughtful, meticulous and thorough in his approach. He makes it a priority to foster comfort and confidence in his patients by helping them understand their diagnosis and the range of available treatment options. He has spent 10 seasons as NBA team physicians for the New Jersey Nets, now known as the Brooklyn Nets.
