<p>We’re looking for a Sales Director – IT Solutions to join a fast-growing technology company specialising in custom software development, cloud solutions, data engineering, and managed services.</p>
<p>This is a high-impact, entrepreneurial role for a self-motivated sales leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at building long-term client relationships across the UK and Europe.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<p><strong>Market Strategy & Business Development</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Develop and execute a go-to-market sales strategy across the UK and Europe in sectors such as BFSI, Healthcare, Retail, Logistics, and Technology.</li>
<li>Represent the company in client meetings, industry events, and forums.</li>
<li>Provide strategic insights on market trends, client needs, and competitive intelligence.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Lead Generation & Pipeline Management</strong></p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Identify, engage, and close new business opportunities with mid-sized and large enterprises.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Build and maintain a strong, qualified sales pipeline to drive predictable revenue growth.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Leverage existing C-level relationships and cultivate new executive connections.</strong></li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Sales Execution & Deal Closure</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Manage the end-to-end sales lifecycle, including prospecting, solutioning, proposal development, pricing, and negotiation.</li>
<li>Close complex multi-service IT deals, typically mid-six to seven-figure in value.</li>
<li>Deliver compelling presentations and proposals tailored to client business objectives.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Collaboration & Delivery Support</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Work closely with pre-sales, solution architecture, and delivery teams to design client-centric solutions.</li>
<li>Ensure smooth handover to delivery teams post-sale to maintain satisfaction and long-term relationships.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Leadership & Team Development</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Mentor junior sales or business development staff as the UK and EU sales team grows.</li>
<li>Contribute to best practices and process improvements within the sales team.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Performance & Results</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets aligned with company growth objectives.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>About You</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>15+ years’ experience in B2B IT services sales, including 7+ years in a new business/hunter role.</li>
<li>Proven success in winning new logos and closing complex IT deals (software, cloud, data).</li>
<li>Strong network in UK enterprise and mid-market sectors.</li>
<li>Deep understanding of onshore/offshore delivery models.</li>
<li>Entrepreneurial, self-starter with excellent communication and presentation skills.</li>
<li>Experience collaborating with global delivery and pre-sales teams.</li>
<li>Degree in Business, Technology, or Engineering (MBA desirable).</li>
<li>Valid UK work authorisation and willingness to travel across the UK and Europe.</li>
