Teacher of Maths – Key Stage 3 Coordinator

This is a full-time, permanent position that includes a TLR2B allowance, reflecting the added responsibility of leading the Key Stage 3 Maths provision. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality Maths teaching across KS3 and KS4 Lead on the design, delivery, and development of the KS3 Maths curriculum Monitor student progress and implement effective interventions Support and mentor colleagues teaching in lower school Maths Collaborate with the Head of Department and SLT on strategic priorities Promote positive attitudes towards Maths across the school community Contribute to school life through clubs, events, and professional learning Qualifications and Experience Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Strong experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4 A track record of improving outcomes for students Leadership potential or previous responsibility experience Excellent subject knowledge and curriculum understanding Strong organisational, communication, and team-working skills Ambition to make a difference and inspire young learners School Staff Direct and our partner school are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
