Krakow-based opportunity with hybrid work model As a Senior Manual Tester – Web and API Validation, you will be working for our client, a leading organization committed to delivering high-quality software solutions in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Your expertise will drive rigorous testing processes, ensuring seamless functionality and security of web applications and APIs, ultimately transforming digital experiences and fostering innovation. Your main responsibilities: Collaborate with product owners to manage backlogs and define clear, testable acceptance criteria. Obtain cross-team consensus to facilitate project progress and smooth delivery. Drive and oversee testing phases, including planning, execution, and reporting. Participate in creating test strategies and implementing detailed test plans for various application components. Maintain and help define manual test artifacts, metrics, and testing environments. Provide test scenarios for automation and performance testing to ensure robustness. Identify exceptions in logs, perform initial triage, and manage bugs efficiently. Work with Cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure), supporting tools like JIRA, Confluence, GIT, and QTest/Tricentis/Zephyr. You're ideal for this role if you have: 3+ years of experience as a Manual Tester within an agile software development team, with relevant industry certification. Proven expertise in testing web applications and REST APIs, including integrations with third-party services. Strong knowledge of Software Testing theory in Agile environments. Ability to design and execute various testing types (regression, performance, functional). Experience defining Agile artifacts (epics, stories, tasks). Excellent communication skills and capacity to lead workshops independently. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, GIT, and related tools. Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking). Experience with API development, REST/HTTP protocols, and cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure). Knowledge of Governance, Risk & Compliance processes, and security testing tools (SAST, MAST, DAST). It is a strong plus if you have: Delivery of process flow diagrams and process improvements for complex system flows. ISTQB certification or experience with UML diagrams. Performance testing expertise. SQL knowledge to support testing activities. Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as SAFe Scrum. Language Required for the role: Fluent English (speaking, reading, writing).
