• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CST

ROLE IMPACT
As a Collector II, you will help ensure timely reimbursement by resolving outstanding insurance claims and payment issues. Success in this role requires strong knowledge of healthcare collections, payer reimbursement processes, and the ability to work independently while

maintaining accuracy and productivity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Review and resolve outstanding insurance accounts using payer portals and internal systems.
• Research explanations of benefits (EOBs) and identify appropriate next steps to secure reimbursement.
• Communicate with commercial and government payers to resolve claim and payment discrepancies.
• Document account activity accurately in Epic and maintain timely follow-up on assigned accounts.
• Meet productivity and quality expectations while managing a high-volume workload.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience using the Epic electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Strong knowledge of Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and experience navigating payer portals such as BCBS, UnitedHealthcare, and similar commercial payers.
• Previous experience working for a hospital, healthcare provider, or health insurance organization.

• Healthcare billing and collections platforms

PREFERRED SKILLS
• Minimum 1 year of healthcare experience in hospital or physician billing.
• Healthcare collections experience with commercial and government payers, including BCBS and Medicare.
• Strong critical thinking skills, sound judgment, and the ability to learn quickly while working with minimal supervision.
