MSK Physiotherapist – Band 6

  Brief Job Overview  

Tripod Partners are recruiting a Band 6 MSK Physiotherapist for a locum role within North West London NHS. This position is based at Ealing Hospital, supporting musculoskeletal and orthopaedic services within an acute hospital environment.

 

The Physiotherapist will assess and treat patients with both acute fractures and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, delivering evidence-based rehabilitation and supporting patients to improve mobility, function, and recovery outcomes.

  Key Responsibilities  

• Provide specialist musculoskeletal physiotherapy assessments and interventions.
• Assess and treat patients with acute fractures and chronic MSK conditions.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment and rehabilitation plans.
• Support orthopaedic rehabilitation and recovery pathways.
• Manage a varied caseload within acute hospital settings.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in line with NHS standards.
• Deliver patient-centred care to support functional recovery and independence.

  About You  

You will be an experienced MSK Physiotherapist with strong knowledge of 
musculoskeletal and orthopaedic rehabilitation. You will demonstrate excellent 
clinical reasoning skills and confidence managing both acute and chronic presentations.

 

You will be organised, adaptable, and able to work effectively within fast-paced multidisciplinary 
hospital environments while delivering high-quality patient-centred care.

  Requirements  

• Recognised qualification in Physiotherapy.
• Current HCPC registration.
• Experience within musculoskeletal physiotherapy services.
• Experience treating acute fractures and chronic MSK conditions.
• Orthopaedic rehabilitation experience desirable.
• Strong communication, organisational, and clinical reasoning skills.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

• Role: MSK Physiotherapist – Band 6
• Sector: North West London NHS
• Contract Type: Locum
• Contract Length: 4–6 weeks initially
• Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week
• Salary: Negotiable
