About the Role

A well established and friendly business in Malton is looking to welcome an experienced Client Executive into their growing team, offering a salary of up to £50,000 depending on experience. This role provides the opportunity to take ownership of an existing book of business, developing and maintaining client relationships while delivering a high standard of service within a supportive and collaborative environment.

If you have experience working as an Account Executive within insurance, this is a strong opportunity to take ownership of an established client portfolio while continuing to develop within a specialist sector, working as part of a team where you can make a tangible impact from day one.

You will work closely with colleagues across the business, in a professional but personable office where people work hard, support each other and take pride in delivering a strong client experience. The role combines relationship management, technical insurance knowledge and commercial development.

Some of the Client Executive responsibilities include:
• Managing and developing an existing portfolio of care and social welfare clients, ensuring strong retention and growth
• Delivering high levels of customer service, providing accurate and independent insurance advice tailored to client needs
• Building and maintaining strong working relationships with clients, insurers and internal teams
• Negotiating with insurers to secure comprehensive cover and competitive terms for clients
• Identifying opportunities to grow accounts through cross-sell and new business development
• Maintaining up to date knowledge of products, market conditions and sector developments
• Monitoring performance against targets and contributing to wider team objectives
• Working collaboratively with Client Advisors, Claims Advisors and other stakeholders to deliver a joined-up service
• Supporting wider business initiatives, including projects and development activity

You will bring strong communication skills and enjoy building long-term relationships with both clients and colleagues. A commercial mindset and confidence managing client portfolios will be key, alongside the ability to balance independent working with being part of a team.

Experience and skills required:
• Proven experience as an Account Executive or Client Executive within insurance
• Strong understanding of commercial lines and client relationship management
• Ability to build and maintain strong client and insurer relationships
• Comfortable working towards targets and objectives
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Experience within care, healthcare or regulated sectors would be beneficial but not essential

This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, offering a salary aligned to experience at Client Executive level, alongside the opportunity to develop within a stable and growing business.
