Overview
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inventory Management
Assist in receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming goods.
Conduct regular stock counts and assist with cycle counts.
Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS).
Report any discrepancies or damages immediately to the supervisor.
Checking current stock levels and managing replenishment stock ordering.
· Accounts Receivable – Debtors Collections
· Coordinate with RPI for overdue orders and quarterly sales target orders deliveries.
2. Order Fulfillment
Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders according to specifications.
Ensure accuracy in order documentation and labeling.
Assist in loading and unloading trucks or containers safely.
3. Shipping & Receiving
Verify shipments against delivery notes and purchase orders.
Prepare outbound shipments and coordinate with logistics or courier partners.
Update shipment tracking and maintain related records.
4. Warehouse Maintenance
Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and free from hazards.
Follow all safety regulations and report unsafe conditions.
Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) as trained and authorized.
5. Coordination & Support
Work closely with other departments (Procurement, Production, Sales) to ensure timely material flow.
Support periodic audits and warehouse improvement initiatives.
Perform other duties as assigned by the warehouse supervisor.
Skills and Experience
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or technical degree preferred).
Experience: 1–3 years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment.
Technical Skills:
Basic computer skills (MS Office, MS Excel, SAP Preferred. ERP/WMS systems).
Knowledge of inventory control and material handling procedures.\
SAP Experience Preferred
Certifications (Preferred): Forklift operator license, OSHA safety certification.
