About the Role

Financial Analyst II- Supply ChainDue to an internal promotion, we are hiring a Financial Analyst II to support the Hillsboro, WI butter factory. In this role you will also play a key role in the reporting and analysis of consolidated Dairy manufacturing results across all locations to the VP of Manufacturing. This role requires a blend of financial expertise, analytical capabilities, and presentation skills to communicate in a concise and informative manner to assist leaders with decision-making.This role is located at our Arden Hills, MN Corporate headquarters in office each week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Key Responsibilities Include:<ul><li>Serve as Plant Controller for Hillsboro, WI butter manufacturing facility.</li><li>Provide analysis of key plant performance metrics, sharing insights with plant operations leadership of performance trends.</li><li>Ensure policy compliance with monthly tracking and analysis of raw material and finished good shrink to provide leadership insights.</li><li>Prepare the annual business plan and forecasts for the plant operating departments. </li><li>Conduct month-end responsibilities including preparation of journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, and management reports.</li><li>Prepare and assess fixed asset capital requests.</li><li>Consolidate total DF MFG results across all 10 plants, including preparing Director and VP level report out presentations</li><li>Represent finance on network wide initiatives, including capital improvement, sustainability projects, and reporting enhancements</li><li>Key responsibilities with annual business plan, forecasting, and risk and opportunity generation within the DF MFG portfolio</li><li>Travel to Hillsboro WI facility one day per month.</li></ul>Experience & Education:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required.</li><li>A minimum of 4 to 6 years’ related work experience required.</li><li>Experience with Fixed Assets and Month End closing preferred.</li><li>Must have a strong aptitude for numbers, be well organized, and be able to demonstrate proficient computer skills in Excel (advanced skills), Word, PowerPoint, JDE and other ERP systems.</li><li>Sound understanding of GAAP.</li></ul>Competencies-Skills:<ul><li>Highly detail oriented and organized with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.</li><li>Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager to accomplish objectives.</li><li>Effectively communicates and collaborates with all levels of the organization.</li></ul>$81,200-$121,800. In most cases, candidates offered employment can expect to be hired at a pay rate near the middle of our salary ranges.
