About the Role

Wellbeing Coordinator Salary: £26,000 Hours: 37.5 Hours Location: Cote Lane At St Monica Trust, we create places where older people truly flourish warm, vibrant communities built with care, expertise and heart. Our activities teams play a vital role in bringing joy, connection and purpose to residents’ daily lives, supporting wellbeing through meaningful engagement. We’re now looking for an Wellbeing & Activities Coordinator to develop and deliver a creative, person‑centred programme that reflects the diverse interests and needs of our residents. The Role As our Activities Coordinator, you’ll lead the planning, delivery and evaluation of a varied and engaging activities programme. You’ll work collaboratively across the site, involving residents, volunteers and colleagues to ensure activities are inclusive, stimulating and aligned with individual needs and preferences. You will: Develop, plan and communicate an evolving activities programme that reflects the full range of residents’ interests and abilities Encourage and support residents to organise their own activities, promoting autonomy and confidence Monitor, evaluate and record activity outcomes to ensure they are beneficial and meaningful Work closely with care teams, pastoral support and facilities colleagues to design suitable group and individual activities Build strong links with the local community to create opportunities for intergenerational and external engagement Support, guide and coordinate volunteers and work‑experience students involved in activities and events Work alongside the Social Care Deputy Manager to monitor activity budgets and ensure value for money across all expenditure About You You’ll bring creativity, empathy and strong organisational ability. You’ll be someone who can inspire others, collaborate confidently and adapt activities to meet diverse needs. Key skills and attributes include: Excellent communication, with the ability to share information clearly and involve others in problem‑solving Confident writing skills, able to produce written materials in a range of formats Ability to explain or clarify complex information in an accessible way for different audiences Strong analytical thinking with the ability to resolve varied, non‑routine challenges Experience planning and organising interlinked activities, adjusting processes to achieve the best outcomes Comfortable using data, feedback and evaluation to improve the programme Able to anticipate and troubleshoot issues to keep activities running smoothly What We’re Looking For We value warmth, integrity and a genuine commitment to wellbeing.
