Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate production equipment according to work orders, specification cards, and established procedures.
  • Review production documentation and verify materials, tooling, and machine settings before each job.
  • Load materials, adhesives, and tooling; adjust machine settings to ensure proper alignment, tension, speed, and product quality.
  • Monitor machine performance throughout production, making necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
  • Inspect products to verify they meet specifications, tolerances, and quality standards, retaining required first and last article samples.
  • Complete required production records, quality inspections, and end-of-run documentation accurately.
  • Ensure the correct materials, lot information, and production records are maintained in accordance with company procedures.
  • Package finished products using the appropriate materials and labeling.
  • Perform routine machine cleaning, basic preventive maintenance, and minor adjustments; report equipment issues requiring major repair.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment throughout each shift.
  • Collaborate with supervisors, sales, estimating, and other departments on product trials and process improvements.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance quality, efficiency, and productivity.
  • Update production documentation, including specification cards, when approved process changes are implemented.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Manufacturing or machine operator experience preferred Reliable and detail-oriented
  • Must pass drug screen and background check
  • Reliable Transportation, bus line not included
