Children's SW - CIC Team - Walsall

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker to join our Children’s SW - CIC Team in Walsall. In this rewarding role, you will work collaboratively with children and families, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development. You will play a vital part in safeguarding vulnerable children, making a positive impact in their lives, and supporting them through challenging circumstances.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
• Developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual circumstances.
• Working closely with multi-agency teams to ensure coordinated support.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
• Providing guidance and support to foster carers and adoptive families.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

• A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
• Registration with Social Work England.
• Experience in working with children and families in a social work setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures in child protection and welfare.
