ABOUT THE ROLE
The Mobile Tech Lead will take full ownership of the mobile product, working alongside backend engineers, designers, and product stakeholders to deliver a seamless user experience for B2B commerce customers. This individual will lead native mobile development efforts, shape architecture decisions, and play a key role in product ideation and delivery.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the development and technical strategy of mobile features for commerce merchants
Collaborate with frontend, backend, product, and design teams in a cross-functional environment
Take ownership of native mobile app development using React Native, Expo, and NativeWind
Translate UI/UX designs into high-quality, performant, and scalable code
Contribute to product thinking, retrospectives, and strategic technical decisions
Stay current with native mobile trends and drive adoption of modern best practices
Ensure quality through testing, monitoring, and maintainability practices
REQUIREMENTS
7+ years of professional experience in software development with a focus on mobile
3+ years of hands-on experience with React Native
Proven experience building and scaling native apps from early-stage to wide adoption
Experience collaborating in product-led environments with a focus on business impact
Excellent prioritization and communication skills
Strong stakeholder management and ability to explain technical trade-offs to non-technical audiences
Comfortable making architecture decisions and balancing speed vs scalability
Interest in or experience with fintech, financial services, or B2B platforms is a plus

Remote-first role, open to candidates across Europe
Option to work from company offices in Dublin, London, Sydney, or several US cities
