About the Role

Join our clients quality team to support the Fabrication Quality Manager. You'll ensure accurate and timely production of front-end and back-end quality and inspection documentation, maintain engineering standards and quality on the fabrication shop floor, and implement a system of continuous improvements. Responsibilities and Duties: - Complete tasks as directed by the Fabrication Quality Manager. - Create Fabrication Quality Plans based on client specifications and drawings. - Develop project-specific fabrication inspection test records for the Fabrication Inspection Team after reviewing client specifications, drawings, and Quality Plans. - Ensure adherence to Fabrication Quality Plans by all sections within the fabrication shop. - Conduct various product interstage inspections according to the applicable Quality Plan, including material release from relevant business units and bought-out material. - Liaise with third-party and customer inspectors. - Conduct welding procedure and welder audits. - Perform sample inspections on fabricated Reformer Assemblies, Coil Assemblies, Manifolds, and related products at the final inspection stage to ensure conformity with the latest drawings, quality plans, and specifications. - Produce accurate project-specific final fabrication inspection test reports (e.g., DPI Reports, PMI Reports, Hydrostatic Test Reports, Dimensional Reports). - Create accurate Radiographic Location Sheets for radiography and welding data control. - Compile accurate material location sheets for completed assemblies. - Report final inspection results and any discrepancies or non-conformances to the Fabrication Quality Manager, Fabrication Shop Manager, QA Manager, and Process Engineering Manager as applicable. Essential Skills and Attributes: - Ability to read and interpret client specifications and drawings. - Ability to follow all applicable Work Instructions and Risk Assessments. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Flexible, proactive, and assertive with strong prioritisation skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines. - Good understanding of quality control and EHS regulations and procedures. - CSWIP 3.1 welding inspector qualification, or CSWIP 3.0 visual welding inspector qualification with the intent to qualify as a CSWIP 3.1 welding inspector.
