Job Title: Field Based Support for Mech/Elec Systems - Data Center

Location: Minneapolis, MN (8mo term w/ possible long-term options)

Duration: 8 Month Project

Pay Rate: $50/hr - $64/hr

Summary

Provide field-based support for mechanical and electrical systems during pre-design, construction, commissioning, and closeout phases. Responsibilities include witnessing commissioning tests and equipment startups, reviewing plans, procedures, and documentation, tracking issues to resolution, and participating in coordination meetings. Perform field reviews and backchecks to verify compliance with contract documents, support submittals, RFIs, and punch lists, and prepare field reports. Document existing conditions and provide constructability input to support design development.

 

Responsibilities

• Field witnessing of mechanical and electrical commissioning activities
• Review commissioning plans, procedures, O&M, and closeout documentation
• Track commissioning and closeout issues through resolution
• Conduct field reviews and backchecks for contract conformance, access, and maintainability
• Review submittals and respond to field-related RFIs
• Support punch list development and prepare field observation reports
• Document existing conditions via site walks, measurements, and photo documentation
• Provide constructability and real-time field input to the design team

 

Requirements

• OSHA-10 (Must be willing to obtain)
• NFPA70E (Must be willing to obtain)
