Workload on the SFM business as usual squad requires additional expertise specifically using the Salesforce platform. Utilizing our established quality gates, tools, and best practices we deliver high quality and low defect applications to our end customers. The main purpose of this team is to support our own Salesforce internal sales and support teams to enable them to provide a better service to their external customers. About the Role:- This position performs complex research, design, and software development assignments within a software functional area or product line, and provides direct input to project plans, schedules, and methodology in the development of cross-functional software products. This position performs software design — typically across multiple systems; mentors more-junior members of the team; and talks to users/customers and translates their requests into solutions. Responsibilities:- Collaborate with product managers, technical leads, architects and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of complex system components. Complete complex bug fixes. Work closely with other development team members to understand complex product requirements and translate them into software designs. Lead technical discussions and provide mentorship to junior team members. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production and development environments Successfully implement development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews. Operate in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders. Resolve complex technical issues as necessary. Train entry-level software engineers as directed by department management, ensuring they are knowledgeable in critical aspects of their roles. Keep abreast of new technology developments. Design and work with complex data models. All other duties as assigned Requirements:- Looking for a highly skilled full-stack experience. The ideal candidate will have expertise in frontend frameworks like React or Angular, as well as backend technologies such as Spring Boot and Java. Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and cloud deployment is essential. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and optimize scalable web applications that deliver exceptional user experiences. 5+ years of Software Engineering experience BS Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience required Advanced knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall). Strong proficiency with data manipulation language including optimization techniques. Strong understanding of normalized/dimensional data modeling principles. Strong knowledge of multiple data storage subsystems. Strong proficiency in Java SE and Java EE, including object-oriented programming principles. Expertise in building RESTful APIs, microservices, and enterprise applications using Spring Boot framework. Ability to build dynamic, responsive, and user-friendly web interfaces using Redux, or similar libraries. Familiarity with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools for automated builds and deployments. Knowledge of caching strategies and tools like Redis. Experience with containerizing applications (ex: Docker) and managing (ex: Kubernetes) their deployment and scaling in distributed environments. Familiarity with modern development practices such as CI/CD, testing, and security best practices. Strong research skills. Experience in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving production issues, including monitoring application health, analyzing logs, and implementing quick fixes or workarounds to ensure system stability and availability. Strong knowledge in industry best practices in development. Knowledge in using and developing applicable tool sets. Ability to interface competently with other technical personnel or team members to finalize requirements. Ability to work well with internal and external technology resources. Knowledge of test-driven development. Ability to write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of complex system components. Ability to complete complex bug fixes.
