We are seeking a Licensed Design Architect for a remote assignment. The selected candidate will work on projects that include engineering and design of data centers and other mission-critical facilities.

Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

Responsibilities
 

- Collaborate with a team of designers and engineers

- Engage with clients and subcontractors

- Deliver construction documents

- Perform calculation checking of others work

- Collaborate with other designers in the development of layout, technical design, construction drawings, specification and model creation

- Attend project meetings and take an active role in helping the team resolve concerns and solve problems across all disciplines

- Participate in and champion internal, cross-discipline and external project quality reviews

- Support field construction efforts, including: reviewing submittals, responding to questions from clients and contractors and performing field walks

- Perform technical and business presentations with clients and employees

- Perform quality reviews on designs performed by others

- Participate in developing proposals, budgets and schedules for process-specific work


Qualifications
 

- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture

- A Professional Architectural License and be able to be licensed in multiple states

- 8+ years of professional Architectural Design experience

- Highly proficiency with Revit, Bluebeam and Microsoft Office

- Knowledge of building codes and applicability to industrial facilities

- Understanding of scopes of work, developing budgets and reviewing schedules

- Ability to lead small architectural teams
- Manufacturing project experience 
- Previous Project Management experience is a plus
