Live-out Housekeeper in Buckinghamshire

Our private clients are seeking an experienced Live-out Housekeeper for their second residence based on a private estate near High Wycombe. Working alongside a long-standing Domestic Couple and supported by a PA, this role requires a professional, proactive and detail-oriented Housekeeper to ensure the property is maintained to an exceptional standard at all times.

The residence is used intermittently by the principals, therefore the successful candidate must be confident working independently during quieter periods whilst also being flexible and hands-on when the family are in residence.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 40–45 hours per week, with flexibility to work some weekends when the principals are in residence

Duties will include –

• Full housekeeping and cleaning to a very high standard
• Laundry and ironing
• Care of fine furnishings, fabrics and delicate surfaces
• Preparing the property for arrivals and resetting after departures
• Maintaining the overall presentation and smooth running of the home
• Supporting the wider household team as required

The ideal candidate will be –

• Experienced within high-end private households
• Proactive, organised and able to work independently
• Flexible and happy to support during busy residence periods
• Discreet, reliable and detail-oriented
• A strong team player who works well within an established household staff structure

Start date: June/July 2026

Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 gross per annum DOE

Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 3 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
