About the Role
Facilities and Equipment: The Midland Tx Oncology Cewnterpractice provides a full range of external beam radiation therapy procedures. Equipment in use at the Midland location includes: Varian TrueBeam, GE RT Lightspeed CT scanner, Elekta microSelectron HDR, Oncentra TPS for HDR treatment planning, Eclipse TPS, MOSAIQ ROIS, RadCalc, Mapcheck3, SNC Routine, IC Profiler, and 3DS scanning system \ Preferred Experience: A working knowledge:Varian linear accelerators Elekta/Nucletron microselectron HDR afterloader and Oncentra TPSEclipse TPSARIA and MOSAIQ Record and Verify systemHDR, SBRT and SRS proceduresRadiation Safety Officer duties for both x-ray registration and RAM licenses The successful candidate will have the following minimum qualifications: Master’s degree in Medical physics from an accredited college or universityGraduate from a CAMPEP accredited residency programABR board certification (or equivalent)Full Texas licensureHDR planning and treatment experienceThe ability to be added to the RAM licenseExperience with SRS, SBRT, and HDRStrong organization and oral / written communication skillsThe ability to travel on an occasion, as needed, basis to support the sister clinic in Odessa, Texas (20 Miles)
