Our client, a leader in industrial and commercial property management, is seeking a Building Engineer to join their team. As a Building Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering and Technical Services supporting the maintenance and operation of building systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and structural systems
• Ensure building systems operate efficiently and meet safety standards
• Conduct inspections of fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing systems to ensure proper functioning
• Assist with preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment lifespan
• Respond to emergency repairs and support safety protocols on-site

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma; relevant experience considered in lieu of education
• Physical ability to walk, climb stairs/ladders, and lift heavy loads of 50 lbs or more
• Basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical skills
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment and follow safety protocols
