The Role – Construction Manager As Construction Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful on-site delivery of mechanical works on a major project in Dresden. You will lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure all construction activities are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards. This is a senior position where your ability to manage complex installations, control labour and drive performance will directly impact project success. Key ResponsibilitiesLead and enforce high standards of health & safety across all site activitiesCoordinate mechanical works with other disciplines to ensure seamless project deliveryManage and track the construction programme to meet key milestonesChair and attend client and site coordination meetingsOversee subcontractors and ensure works are completed to specificationPlan and monitor labour and plant requirements with site supervisorsReport progress, risks and performance to the Project ManagerWork closely with engineers and safety teams to achieve project targetsMonitor labour productivity and control costs on siteEnsure all variations are captured and communicated to commercial teamsAbout YouMinimum 10 years’ experience in mechanical construction, ideally within pharmaceutical or oil & gas projectsTrade background (pipefitter/mechanical) or relevant mechanical engineering qualificationStrong knowledge of piping systems, isometrics and general arrangement drawingsProven ability to manage site teams and subcontractors on large-scale projectsExcellent organisational and time management skillsStrong communication skills with the ability to engage at all levelsDriven, self-motivated and focused on delivering high-quality workStructured and methodical approach to problem solvingWhat’s on Offer Salary: Excellent salary €90,000 - €110,000 (DOE) Benefits:Accommodation and travel supportBonus structurePension contributionOngoing training and professional developmentOpportunity to work on major European projectsClear progression into senior project leadership rolesWhy Apply?
