About The Role As Sales Team Manager, you will lead and inspire a team of ambitious sales professionals, driving commercial growth across the World Future Energy Summit portfolio. You will shape strategy, unlock new revenue streams, build powerful client partnerships, and deliver measurable results in a dynamic, fast-paced international marketplace. You will have real influence—over performance, people, and process—within a global organisation that invests in talent, innovation and long-term career development. Responsibilities Commercial Growth Develop and execute strategic sales plans in partnership with the Portfolio Head of Sales to exceed revenue targets across all product lines Identify and unlock new revenue opportunities using data-led insights and pipeline analysis Drive customer optimisation strategies to maximise lifetime value and retention Manage a complex sales pipeline with accuracy in forecasting, risk assessment and market evaluation Build multi-threaded relationships with key clients and stakeholders, delivering outcome-focused solutions Foster an entrepreneurial team culture—encouraging ambition, intelligent risk-taking and breakthrough thinking Inspirational Leadership: Lead, coach and develop a high-performing sales team to achieve exceptional commercial outcomes Promote a culture of sales excellence through structured coaching, feedback and capability building Inspire engagement and collaboration across the wider RX UK sales community Lead beyond authority—positively influencing cross-functional teams to enhance process, delivery and performance Champion inclusion, growth and continuous improvement Performance & Development: Instil a growth mindset across your team—encouraging experimentation, innovation and learning Identify capability gaps and proactively implement training and development solutions Model curiosity and resilience, continuously seeking new approaches to drive results Actively seek and apply feedback to enhance your own leadership impact Industry Expertise & Brand Representation: Build and nurture a strong network across key clients, associations and strategic partners Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer insight to inform sales strategy Represent RX Global and WFES confidently at industry events and client engagements Stay ahead of emerging technologies and trends within exhibitions and sustainable energy Collaboration & Governance: Partner cross-functionally with marketing, operations, finance, pricing and brand teams to ensure seamless event delivery Engage effectively with international teams Uphold ethical sales practices and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards Requirements Proven exhibition sales experience (essential) with a strong track record of delivering results Demonstrated success leading sales performance in competitive, fast-paced environments Experience in people management and team development Background in energy, sustainability, or related industries (preferred) Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to manage complex sales cycles Collaborative, team-first leadership style with high emotional intelligence Entrepreneurial mindset with disciplined organisation and prioritisation Clear, influential communicator and respected role model within sales leadership Working for you RX promote a healthy work life balance, with flexible working hours, wellbeing initiatives, shared parental leave, study assistance and sabbaticals to meet your immediate responsibilities and long-term goals.
