Fire Safety Surveyor - South East London<br>£375 per day (Umbrella)<br>3-Month Ongoing Contract<br>36 Hours per Week<br><br>The Opportunity<br><br>A local authority is looking to appoint four experienced Fire Safety Surveyors to support the delivery of fire safety compliance across a diverse residential property portfolio.<br><br>This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Fire Risk Assessor with experience undertaking and reviewing Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs), identifying fire safety risks, and ensuring compliance with current fire safety legislation. You'll play a key role in maintaining safe environments for residents while supporting a high-profile building safety programme.<br><br>What You'll Be Doing<br><br>Undertaking and reviewing Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs) across residential and mixed-use properties<br>Carrying out fire safety inspections and compliance audits<br>Identifying fire safety risks and recommending appropriate remedial actions<br>Prioritising risks and supporting fire safety improvement programmes<br>Producing clear, accurate, and evidence-based fire safety reports<br>Providing technical advice to internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders<br><br>What We're Looking For<br><br>Recognised Fire Risk Assessment qualification (Level 3, Level 4, or equivalent)<br>Proven experience undertaking Fire Risk Assessments within residential, commercial, or public sector buildings<br>Strong knowledge of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, Fire Safety Act 2021, and Building Safety Act 2022<br>Experience producing detailed FRA reports and prioritising fire safety actions<br>Excellent report writing, communication, and stakeholder management skills<br>Knowledge of passive fire protection, compartmentation, or higher-risk residential buildings is advantageous
