Click here Location: Teesside Salary: £30000 - £40000 Sector: Digital Marketing Type: Permanent Posted: 06/23/2025 A long-standing UK-based manufacturer is looking for a commercially minded E-Commerce Manager to drive its digital sales strategy. Having recently undergone a major rebrand and website launch, the company is now entering a pivotal growth phase with increased investment in digital infrastructure and e-commerce channels. Within this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing the online sales and marketing strategy across the company’s digital platforms, with a focus on increasing product visibility, generating leads, and improving user experience and conversion rates. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, this role will play a vital part in supporting the company’s digital transformation and working closely with wider sales and marketing functions. Please note that this is an office-based position, so you must be able to visit their office daily, located in Stockton-On-Tees. Key Responsibilities - Develop and implement the e-commerce strategy across the company’s website - Optimise the online sales funnel from product listing to checkout, improving UX and UI with internal and external resources - Manage product content, imagery, and SEO in collaboration with a Marketing Executive - Analyse web traffic and user behaviour using tools such as Google Analytics and Hotjar to improve conversion - Oversee PPC and collaborate on email marketing and social media campaigns with internal stakeholders or agencies - Maintain and update the website CMS, ensuring accurate, engaging, and timely content - Work closely with sales and production teams to align stock availability, pricing, and lead generation - Monitor competitor activity and trends to inform pricing, positioning, and promotional strategy - Produce regular reports on sales performance, website traffic, customer acquisition, and ROI on digital campaigns - Identify and implement new e-commerce tools, plug-ins, or platform upgrades to enhance website functionality Some of the requirements - Proven experience managing e-commerce platforms such as Shopify - Strong understanding of SEO, PPC, CRO, and digital analytics - Proficient in tools including Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Search Console, and Meta Business Suite - Experience in a product-based, B2B or B2C e-commerce environment - Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills - Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, manufacturing-led environment - Basic HTML/CSS knowledge is an advantage Apply now to avoid missing out on this fantastic opportunity!
