About the Role
We’re a growing insights firm seeking a VP, Client Development to drive new business and build strategic client relationships. This is a seller–doer role owning revenue while guiding engagements from pitch through delivery.
What You’ll Do
- Generate new business via prospecting, network, and inbound leads
- Own revenue targets (typically $1M+) and grow a client portfolio
- Lead consultative sales conversations around research design and insights
- Develop proposals (methodology, pricing, deliverables)
- Stay involved post-sale to guide execution and ensure success
- Partner with internal teams and support growth
What We’re Looking For
- Proven new business development experience in insights/market research
- Track record of $1M+ annual revenue (or similar quota)
- Strong understanding of qualitative and quantitative research
- Experience writing proposals and scoping custom research
- Excellent communication and client management skills
- Commercial, consultative mindset
