Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant- Longton

About the role:
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Early Years Teaching Assistant,  who is looking for a long term role in a Nursery school in the Longton area on a Part time basis. The role is set to commence in September 2026, with shortlisting currently underway.

This warm and nurturing nursery provides a welcoming environment where children are encouraged to learn, explore and develop through play. With a strong focus on early childhood development, the setting offers excellent support for both children and staff, creating a positive and rewarding place to work. The successful candidate will join a dedicated team committed to helping every child build confidence, independence and a love for learning.

• Support children’s learning through play-based activities
• Deliver planned Early Years learning experiences
• Promote children’s communication and language development
• Observe, monitor and record children’s progress
• Support personal care and daily routines
• Create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment
• Assist with phonics and early literacy activities
• Build positive relationships with parents and carers
• Support safeguarding and welfare requirements
• Contribute to children’s social and emotional development

Pre-requisites:

• Level 3 Early Years qualification
• Previous UK nursery or Early Years setting experience
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
