About the Role

Job Title: Primary Teaching Assistant
Location: Northampton, UK
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: ASAP

The Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support the academic and social development of our students. You will assist in delivering tailored learning programs, help manage classroom activities, and provide individual or group support to children with varying needs.

Key responsibilities will include:

Supporting teachers in planning and delivering lessons.
Providing one-on-one and small group support to students.
Assisting with classroom management and ensuring a positive learning environment.
Helping students with their emotional and social development.
Assisting with the preparation of classroom resources and displays.
Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) as required.

What We're Looking For:

A genuine passion for working with children and helping them succeed.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Previous experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting (desirable but not essential).
A positive, patient, and flexible attitude towards working with students from diverse backgrounds.
A commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to learn.
A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection protocols.
