About the role:
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Drama Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Sheffield. This is a full-time, long-term supply position commencing in September 2026 and continuing through to December 2026, with the potential to secure a permanent role from January 2027.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality Drama lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Plan, prepare, and assess student work in line with curriculum expectations.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that nurtures creativity, confidence, and self-expression.
- Support and contribute to school productions, performances, and extracurricular activities.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to uphold excellent standards of teaching and learning.
Pre-requisites:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Drama and/or Music within a secondary school setting.
- Sound knowledge of the national curriculum for Drama and Music.
- Two recent references from educational or school-based settings.
- An enhanced DBS certificate on the update service, or willingness to obtain one.
