QA Test Analyst

We are recruiting for an experienced QA Tester to join a long established technology team working on a complex, high traffic ecommerce platform.   This position is suited to someone who is hands on, commercially aware, and comfortable working closely with developers to ensure quality across an integrated system.   The Role You will be responsible for manual testing across a sophisticated ecommerce environment, including:   Web platforms Payment processing CRM and CMS systems Reporting systems UI and end user journeys   This role is primarily manual testing focused. Automation is present within the wider team but is not the core requirement for this hire.   You will not be sitting in isolation executing scripts. You will be:   Coordinating directly with developers Following up on defects and builds Managing test cases and defect workflows Taking increasing ownership of quality processes   This would suit someone who has several years of experience and has started to take on more responsibility, possibly moving towards a test lead level, but still enjoys being hands on.   What We Are Looking For 5 plus years testing online software applications Strong experience testing ecommerce or complex integrated systems Solid manual testing capability across UI and end to end user journeys Experience using Jira and TestRail or similar tools Comfortable replicating real world environments using tools such as BrowserStack Confident communicating with developers and managing defect discussions Someone commercially aware and pragmatic   Automation exposure is beneficial but not essential.
