3/18/14 – Logistics Supervisor

Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting a Logistics Supervisor for a client of ours in Youngsville, NC. Responsibilities Responsible for all shipping of finished goods Provide supervision, training, scheduling, and guidance to direct reports Create personnel schedules and approve time for direct reports Work closely with Material Handling and Customer Service groups Coordinate with Plant Manager, Production Managers, Scheduler, and other Plant Personnel to attain delivery, cost, and quality of service objectives Responsible for planning shipments, creating schedules, and communicating with customers/contractors to ensure all goods are shipped timely and accurately Gather and enter all data into company’s system to prepare Bills of Lading and other shipping documents Requirements Must be able to lift up to 50lbs Must be able to operate a forklift Ability to work in a non-climate controlled warehouse Ability to pass a criminal background check and a drug test Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook Must possess strong communication, organizational, and PC skills
