The Opportunity

As Community Manager, you’ll be at the heart of the resident experience. You’ll lead day-to-day operations, inspire your team, and create a welcoming environment where students can thrive.

From organising engaging events to ensuring smooth building operations, you’ll play a key role in shaping a living experience that residents will remember long after they move out.

 

Location: Leeds 

Salary: up to ÂŁ38,000 + Bonus 

 

What You’ll Be Doing

Creating an Exceptional Resident Experience

  • Deliver an outstanding customer experience for every resident.
  • Build meaningful relationships with students and create a welcoming community atmosphere.
  • Turn residents into enthusiastic ambassadors who recommend the property to friends.

Community & Event Management

  • Plan and deliver exciting events that bring residents together — from social nights to wellbeing workshops.
  • Develop creative ideas that enhance student life and engagement.
  • Build partnerships with universities, colleges, and local organisations.

Building Operations & Performance

  • Support the smooth running of the property and maintain high operational standards.
  • Work with senior management to ensure full health & safety compliance.
  • Help optimise property performance and contribute to occupancy and revenue goals.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.
  • Conduct regular one-to-ones, coaching sessions, and performance reviews.
  • Create a collaborative and positive working culture.

Business Growth

  • Support occupancy targets and revenue performance.
  • Monitor KPIs and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For

 

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience delivering exceptional customer service
  • Experience planning and hosting events
  • Previous team leadership or management experience (hospitality, BTR, student accommodation, residential or similar)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to problem-solve and manage challenges effectively
  • Experience using CRM or booking systems
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
