Job Title: Lead Occupational Therapist - Children with Disabilities (Social Care) Location: Brent, London Rate: £38.81 per hour Contract: Full-Time / Hybrid (3 days per week in office) About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Lead Occupational Therapist to manage Brent's Social Care Occupational Therapy Service for children with disabilities. This role combines leadership responsibilities with direct practice, ensuring children and families receive high-quality, expert OT support. In this role, you will: Manage and supervise the Social Care OT team, providing guidance and professional development. Work directly with children and families to assess needs, provide expert advice, and recommend equipment and home adaptations that promote independence and wellbeing. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and partner agencies to deliver holistic, child-focused solutions. Improve outcomes for some of Brent's most vulnerable children and young people. Requirements: Qualified Occupational Therapist with proven experience working with children with disabilities in Social Care. Experience in team leadership and supervision. Strong collaborative skills to work with families, children, and multi-agency teams. Knowledge of relevant legislation, frameworks, and best practice in children's social care. Working Pattern: Hybrid role - 3 days per week in the office, flexible arrangements available.
