Position Overview
The lead supervisor will oversee security operations, ensuring seamless communication between shifts, adherence to company standards, and alignment with both client and organizational goals. Acting as a liaison between officers, site management, and external vendors, this role requires exceptional leadership, organizational expertise, and proficiency in technology. Prior experience as a security officer is a significant advantage and will set you up for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
• Leadership & Team Coordination:
• Lead and manage day and swing shift supervisors, ensuring continuity and consistency across operations.
• Mentor and train security officers to ensure high performance and adherence to company policies.
• Act in the Site Manager's place during vacations or absences to maintain operational continuity.
• Operational Management:
• Facilitate clear communication between shifts to ensure alignment on security priorities.
• Collaborate proactively with the Site Manager on daily operations and long-term objectives.
• Assist with scheduling and payroll using Microsoft Excel and internal systems.
• Vendor & Technology Coordination:
• Work with vendors and on-site crews to maintain operational efficiency.
• Liaise with technology providers to troubleshoot and resolve site-specific tech issues.
• Administrative Duties:
• Prepare and submit daily operational reports to the Site Manager.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety protocols, and client requirements.
• Maintain records and support administrative tasks using Microsoft Office tools.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field.
• Prior experience as a security officer is highly preferred and valued.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• General computer literacy to assist with scheduling, payroll, and tech-related tasks.
• Other Requirements:
• Clean driving record and valid driver's license.
• Strong follow-through on both short- and long-term objectives.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to embody and promote the company's mission and values in all interactions.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays.
