We are seeking a Board-Certified
or Board-Eligible Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) Physician for locum tenens
coverage in Richmond, Virginia. This role focuses on the management of high-risk
pregnancies in both outpatient and inpatient settings, supporting a busy and
well-established MFM practice.

Key Responsibilities
Provide
comprehensive care for high-risk obstetric patients in office and
inpatient settings
Perform
consultations, diagnostic evaluations, and ongoing management of complex
maternal and fetal conditions
Collaborate
closely with OB/GYNs, neonatology, nursing, and ancillary teams
Participate
in care planning for patients with maternal or fetal comorbidities
Ensure
accurate and timely documentation in the EMR

Amniocentesis
Chorionic
Villus Sampling (CVS)
Cerclage
(preferred)
Management
of high-risk conditions including:
Pre-eclampsia and hypertension
Multiple gestations
Fetal growth restriction
Chromosomal, congenital, and genetic
abnormalities
Pre-term labor
Thrombophilia
Birth defects and complex
maternal/fetal comorbidities
Experience
with vaginal and cesarean deliveries in high-risk settings
Qualifications
Board
Certified or Board Eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine
Completion
of an ACGME-accredited MFM fellowship
Active
Virginia medical license
BLS
certification
AIUM
certification
