We are seeking a Physical Security Engineer for a Hybrid assignment. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with our security technology team, designing and developing security solutions for buildings, facilities and sites

Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm


** Candidates can work a Hybrid schedule -anywhere- in the Continental US, Alaska or Hawaii **


Responsibilities
- Leading security design efforts
- Creating schematics, schedules, plan drawings and specifications
- Performing calculations for video storage, bandwidth usage and power loads
- Contributing to cross-discipline coordination
- Identifying potential conflicts or inconsistencies with architectural, civil, electrical and instrumentation teams


Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
- 10+ years experience planning, designing and commissioning physical security systems (video surveillance, access control, intercom and intrusion detection systems)
- Thorough knowledge of CSI design and construction specifications
- Knowledge of construction cost estimating for security implementation
- A Professional Engineer License (PE) is highly preferred
- Professional security certifications (CISSP, CPP, PSP, CCNA, RCDD, etc.) are a plus
