About the role:
Justteachers is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Art Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in the Bradford area from September until the Christmas break. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire creativity and help students develop their artistic skills across Key Stages 3 and 4.
The successful candidate will be committed to delivering engaging lessons, promoting a positive learning environment, and encouraging students to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Art lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Teach Art across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Assess, monitor, and record student progress effectively.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all students.
- Manage classroom behaviour in accordance with school policies.
- Contribute to departmental planning and development.
- Prepare students for coursework and examinations where required.
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding and student welfare.
Pre-requisites:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Art within a secondary school setting.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- A passion for Art and creative education.
- Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
- Two school based references.
