EOI: Passenger Transport

SEND Transport, Post-16 Policies, Home to School Transport and more!

I’m currently working with several Local Authorities across the UK who are strengthening their teams across Home to School Transport, and SEND Transport.

With increasing demand for services, funding pressures, and continued focus on accessibility, efficiency, and network improvement, councils are actively recruiting across a range of roles in this space.

I’m currently supporting positions including:

• Home to School Transport Managers / Team Leads – overseeing statutory transport provision, routing, and service optimisation
• SEND Transport Leads / Managers – managing complex transport requirements, EHCP-linked provision, and supplier performance
• Passenger Transport Managers / Officers – delivering day-to-day operations across school, adult social care, and community transport
• Transport Operations / Contracts Managers – managing operator contracts, procurement, and performance frameworks
• Transport Policy & Strategy Officers (Passenger Transport focus) – supporting service redesign, savings programmes, and accessibility improvements

Typical work includes:

• SEND transport redesign and cost-saving programmes
• Home to school transport policy and delivery optimisation
• Operator contract management and procurement
• Accessibility and inclusivity improvements across transport services
