Job Description
Reporting into the Legal Director you will play a key role in advising the business on:
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts
- Regulatory and compliance-related matters
- Pragmatic legal support and training to internal stakeholders
- Corporate, governance, and policy matters
- Managing external counsel where required
- Process improvement and development of internal legal frameworks
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate should have:
- Legal qualification in the UK
- Experience in handling matters within the insurance or financial services industry
- Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills.
- A thorough understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements.
- The ability to work independently and provide practical legal solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
