Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a Controller to join our outstanding client in the Cary, NC area.  This is a “hands-on” role with a fast growing construction services firm.   Responsibilities Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures Oversee the operations of the accounting department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department’s goals and objectives Serves as the company Plan Administrator for 401-k Profit Sharing Plan Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit Monitor debt levels and compliance with debt covenants Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings Accountable for the administrative, financial, and risk management operations of the company and for creating financial transactions and financial reports from that information  Requirements Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience 10+ years of progressively responsible experience; CONSTRUCTION accounting and JOB COST preferred CPA or CMA strongly preferred
