<h3><span style="font-family: Calibri"><strong>Fine Art Technician &#8211; Feltham &#8211; Up to £40,000</strong></span></h3> <p><span style="font-family: Calibri">Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fine Art Technician to join their art logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe handling, packing, transportation, installation, and storage of artworks.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: Calibri">This role requires a high level of professionalism, technical ability, discretion, and a strong commitment to best practices in art handling and logistics.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: Calibri"><strong>Office location:</strong> Feltham, UK</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: Calibri"><strong>Hours:</strong> Monday to Friday &#8211; 08:00 til 17:00</span></p> <h3><span style="font-family: Calibri"><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></span></h3> <ul> <li><span style="font-family: Calibri">Handle, pack, and transport a wide range of artworks, including paintings, sculptures, installations, and delicate objects.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: Calibri">Assist with and carry out on-site art installations and de-installations at galleries, museums, private residences, and art fairs.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: Calibri">Safely load and unload artworks from vehicles using appropriate handling, lifting, and securing techniques.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: Calibri">Conduct condition checks and accurately report any discrepancies or damage.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: Calibri">Maintain detailed and accurate documentation, including condition reports, packing lists, and inventory logs.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: Calibri">Liaise professionally with clients, conservators, registrars, and couriers throughout projects.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: Calibri">Ensure all tools, vehicles, and equipment are maintained in good working condition.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: Calibri">Support warehouse operations, including artwork intake, inventory management, and storage.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: Calibri">Travel domestically and occasionally internationally as required for installations and exhibition setups.</span></li> </ul> <h3><span style="font-family: Calibri"><strong>Requirements &amp; Qualifications</strong></span></h3> <ul> <li><span style="font-family: Calibri">Proven experience within a fine art handling, logistics, or museum/gallery environment.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: Calibri">Commutable distance from the office</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: Calibri">Strong knowledge of best practices in art packing, handling, and installation.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: Calibri">Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilities.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: Calibri">Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: Calibri">Flexible approach to working hours and willingness to travel as required.</span></li> </ul> <p>WR Logistics are the #1 recruitment partner for all vacancies in the logistics industry.
