Registered Nurse (RN)- Full time- Night shift
Mercy hospital is seeking an experienced behavioral health nurse to join the team in Ada, OK. Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of person(s) licensed by a State regulatory board to prescribe medication and treatment, or under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN). Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for psychiatric patients.
Monitor and document patient progress, behaviors, and responses to interventions.
Provide patient and family education to support understanding of treatment plans and recovery goals.
Promote safety by implementing de-escalation strategies, crisis intervention, and adherence to safety protocols.
Collaborate with physicians, social workers, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care.
